Michael Carroll, CPA

Michael Carroll is a licensed CPA , certified fraud examiner (CFE), and co-owner of Cypress Tax & Consulting. He also currently serves as the corporate controller for a multi-bank holding company. In this role he oversees accounting operations across multiple subsidiaries, ensures compliance with commercial banking regulations, and works closely with executive leadership to manage the company’s mergers and acquisitions activity. With previous experience as an auditor at a public accounting firm, Michael brings a strong background in technical accounting research and internal control to Cypress. He specializes in financial analysis, accounting systems optimization, and strategic planning. Michael is passionate about helping business owners plan for their future operations and make their systems more efficient, compliant, and functional.
